Nutrasource Diagnostics Inc. hails ‘synergistic strategic acquisition’ of GRAS Associates LLC
GRAS Associates will continue to operate, and expand from, its US-based locations, providing excellence and scientific integrity in the area of food safety notifications to the FDA.

“GRAS Associates will now have available expanded client offerings beyond FDA food ingredient safety considerations to encompass the clinical and analytical testing and regulatory services associated with foods, drugs and cosmetics,” added Dr McQuate. “Furthermore, our blended operations will have enhanced capabilities to serve clients with regulatory needs in the U.S., Canada and Europe.”
Dr. Kraska said: “The combined scientific resources of the two companies will provide better services to clients from assisting chemical analysis on products to assuring a complete review of available safety data. Many of our clients have a desire to conduct clinical studies and now those can be conducted in the same organization that reviews the safety data.”
