Ginkgo adulteration
The issue of adulteration of ingredients and finished products is not going away. The US ginkgo market is valued at over $18 million, according to ABC Herb Market Report for 2011. When such numbers are involved, unscrupulous players will seek a way to grab a piece of the pie and maximize their profits by providing adulterated material.
