US optimistic over China soybean trade dispute
The Bush administration is "hopeful" that a trade dispute with China that has disrupted exports of U.S. soybeans will be resolved soon, U.S. Agriculture Secretary Ann Veneman said Tuesday.

Herbal tinctures and extracts rejected as alcoholic beverages
On October 15, the Superior Court of California threw out lawsuits brought against the American Herbal Products Association (AHPA) citing that herbal tinctures and extracts sold by its member companies are "alcoholic beverages".
