Clinically-studied, the caffeine-free, four-in-one formula contains whole beetroot, which boosts nitrates in the body to increase blood flow and improve the oxygen and nutrient supply to the body. It also contains Solnul prebiotic fiber, which increases beneficial bacteria such as bifidobacteria and akkermansia in support of gut health.
“We are on a mission to restore health and wellness, one system at a time,” Lal said. “After the success of our first product, we wanted to explore what can we do to modulate the microbiome of the body in order to affect multiple systems, starting with the gut-energy and gut-heart axis.”
The first product, ResB, launched in 2021 to target the gut-lung axis with a probiotic and botanical blend for respiratory health. It took Lal and his team 10 years of laboratory study to investigate how human cells react to bacteria, as well as several animal studies to prove ResB's efficacy. After that, his team continued to conduct clinical trials to achieve nearly drug development level precision, Lal said.
“Ten years back, if you would have asked me about the supplement industry, I did not know anything,” he added. “As a physician-scientist, I considered most of the supplements to be ‘snake oil’. But that is not true. What I realized was there is a huge opportunity to bring science into the supplement industry.”
ResBiotic will be at the forefront of creating novel scientific products in the future to restore one health system at a time, he added. The company is already working on several other concepts for targeted precision supplements for different organ systems of the body.
