The gold-medal winning swimmer Matt Richards and bronze-winning sprinter Daryll Neita are set to be the athlete ambassadors for the brand and will be each supported with VOW nutritional products.
The collaboration will see the launch of a new collection of ‘Official Team GB’ shakers and water bottles promoting the brand’s strong portfolio of sports nutrition supplements, including powdered drink whey proteins and hydration formulas.
The range of products set to fuel the team and carry the GB logo include: ‘Elite Whey’ with 24g of protein per serving; ‘Pre-workout’ with caffeine, beta-alanine, and creatine; and ‘EAA Hydr8’ which contains essential amino acids (EAAs) and electrolytes to promote hydration.
Vow’s nutritional chews will also be provided to the team, offering a convenient, on-the-go option to support performance. The ‘Creatine chews’ contain 5g of creatine monohydrate per serving, with studies highlighting their efficacy in supporting performance during short-duration, high-intensity exercise. Furthermore, the ‘Amino chews’ provide all nine essential amino acids to support muscle growth and recovery.
Simon Stevens, CEO of VOW Nutrition, commented on the new collaboration: "We are immensely proud to collaborate with Team GB in anticipation of the Paris 2024 Olympic Games.”
Olympian Matt Richards added: "The Paris 2024 Olympic Games is as close as it gets to a home Games, so we anticipate an electric atmosphere. While winning gold in the 4x200m freestyle event in Tokyo was an incredible experience, I am determined to surpass my previous performance and strive for even more medals in Paris for the team.
“I am constantly seeking marginal gains, so partnering with VOW Nutrition is an exciting opportunity to explore what we can accomplish together,” he emphasised.
