Probiota Americas 2023, hosted by NutraIngredients-USA at the Westin Chicago River North in Chicago, June 14-16, will feature world-leading experts to present the latest scientific, technical, regulatory, business, and market insights.
The three-day conference takes a magnifying glass to all-things microbiome-related, what areas are growing, and in which direction.
Women’s health leads the way
Day 3 starts with an extensive look at the microbiome modulation to support women’s health, featuring Dr. José Maria Soares Júnior from the University of São Paulo Medical School, Caroline Carralero from Nouri, and more.
This is followed by a presentation by Kera Nyemb-Diop from Fonterra about clinical evidence for Bifido Longum Hn301 to support skin health.
The winner of our Scientific Frontiers program will then take the stage, and this year that is Varol Tunali, MD, PhD, from Enbiosis Biotechnologies, who will present data from a multicenter randomized controlled trial of microbiome-based artificial intelligence-assisted personalized diet versus fodmap diet in IBS.
This allows us to transition into the cutting edge category of live biotherapeutics, and we’re delighted to have presentations by Marc Tewey, CEO of ExeGi Pharma, and Dr Stephanie Culler, Co-Founder and CEO of Persephone Biosciences.
Attendees will then get to meet the 2023 Probiota Americas Pioneers: Cheryl Sew Hoy, Founder & CEO, Tiny Health; Dr. Hanan Shehata, Senior Scientist, Purity-IQ; and Joseph Wang, CTO, Nimble Science.
The closing keynote will be delivered by Dr Rita Oliveira from The University of Chicago - Duchossois Family Institute on the fascinating topic of Quorum Sensing in the Gut Microbiota as a therapeutic tool.
The event closes with our future-looking panel discussion featuring Danielle Masterson and Stephen Daniells from NutraIngredients-USA and George Paraskevakos, Executive Director of the International Probiotics Association.
