Autumn Kendrick, Chief Strategy & Ideation Officer at GnuSante Creations, said that while health was always important to her, visual and performing arts were always front and center. However, once the pandemic hit, her creative projects were shut down and her career shifted.
“I didn't really become a ‘nutrition nerd’ until 2020 when I started digging into different ideas and projects in the beverage industry,” said Kendrick.
Kendrick works alongside her father, food scientist Ron Kendrick. After three years of R&D, she launched Ra.D8, a drink for skin health.
“I do think I have a little bit of my own need to prove myself. We're a small company and I know my fellow coworkers and leadership and across all levels see my hard work, but I do think there's an extra need to show that I am not just given what's in front of me, but that I work for myself.”
Kendrick said she has put in a lot of blood, sweat and tears to go from ‘Ron’s daughter’ to being introduced as Autumn Kendrick.
“There’s been an extra push and drive for me to now be introduced as Autumn Kendrick, which is an exciting shift and change, and it's a shift that I'm starting to see be recognized in the industry and outside,” said Kendrick.
