Will Rowe, the company’s president and CEO, said NutraSource wanted a way to showcase the ‘A’ players in our industry.
“Unlike other certifications that exist in our industry, specifically what we're looking to do and become is sort of the aggregator of an all encompassing view of how a company can showcase their level of quality. So it's a bit more of a marketing certification, not so much supply chain audit verification,” explained Will Rowe, president and CEO of NutraSource.
The NutraStrong Certification Program is built on four pillars: Testing Standards,
Manufacturing Quality, Label Compliance and Corporate Values.
The new launch comes off the heels of NutraSource’s 20 year anniversary. Rowe said building something that matters to the industry has been the most rewarding aspect of NutraSource.
“I'm a complete entrepreneur through and through. It's really fascinating to see. ‘Hey, I have an idea. I'm going to put it out there.’ Now we have a bit of a platform to put new ideas and new concepts through to new service offerings like NutraStrong,” said Rowe. “It's very, very satisfying and rewarding to see one's ideas turn into a business reality. That people value and are willing to pay for that. Kind of still blows me away everyday.”
