JumpstartMD has partnered with OK Capsule to offer private-label weight management supplements that center around personalization, convenience, service and technology. This partnership allows JumpstartMD to further personalize its offerings in larger volumes.
The collaboration now allows JumpstartMD to make the process of personalizing and weight management supplements more accessible by leveraging a technology platform that delivers supplement packs every month.
“OK Capsule’s partnership with JumpstartMD creates another opportunity to prescribe tailored supplements to drive superior results to Jumpstart our members’ health and well-being through a system that creates a convenient, personalized, and high touch experience by leveraging advanced technology in combination with the highest-quality supplements,” said Parham Javaherian, CEO of JumpstartMD.
OK Capsule founder and CEO Andrew Brandeis, ND, added that he is disrupting the supplement industry by empowering its partners to scale the delivery of personalized supplement packets to its customers.
“Diet and exercise are paramount to an effective weight loss program, but the right supplements can aid the body and accelerate the process of achieving optimal health,” Brandeis told NutraIngredients-USA. “It’s personalized and based on a doctor’s recommendation and personal consult. No online quizzes or surveys – it’s all 100% personal.”
Go-to ingredients
Brandeis explained that some common weight management supplements include green coffee bean extract, with studies suggesting that it supports fat loss by aiding the body’s ability to balance blood sugar.
Another go-to ingredient is Berberine, with research showing weight loss support through regulation of many hormones related to fat production as well as inhibiting the growth of fat cells.
Personal packs
The key ingredients in the supplement packets include:
- Berberine, probiotics, green coffee bean extract, ashwagandha and alpha lipoic acid for weight management
- B Complex, buffered C and ashwagandha for stress support
- NAC, Mushroom Immune Blend, quercetin, OptiZinc, and vitamin C 1000 with rose hips to support immune health
- L-theanine and melatonin for sleep support
Compliance
One of the key drivers for the creation of OK Capsule was compliance. “I can tell you that very few people will open 4 to 5 bottles per day, even a couple of times per day, to take their supplements,” said Brandeis. “Rather than opening 2–3 bottles, which is very cumbersome, with compostable packs, you can keep a couple of packs at your desk or in your purse or when you travel, and when you need them, you have the solution there when you need it.”
GMP certified
OK Capsule recently received current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP) certification.
The company operates according to cGMPs under 21 CFR part 111 and part 117, with an FDA-compliant fulfillment facility in Reno, NV. By working within the cGMP regulations, the company will undergo audits on a regular schedule, in addition to periodic FDA inspections to guarantee that high-quality standards are being met with every sustainable package that is manufactured.
Brandeis said OK Capsule remains dedicated to redefining the industry by enabling any brand, at any scale, to deliver personalized, high-quality supplements directly to consumers.
“At OK Capsule, we are committed to pushing the standards and providing a unique and personalized experience. The future of medicine is personalization, and we are continuously looking for opportunities to break new ground in developing and adapting our technology,” said Brandeis.
