Leading beauty-from-within player Modere is expanding its presence in the direct-to-consumer channel with a new brand experience center in SoHo in New York City.

A spokesperson for the company told NutraIngredients-USA: “Because the majority of our omnichannel, direct-to-consumer business is online, we decided to open the SoHo experience center to allow new and loyal customers an opportunity to experience our product and brand first-hand.

“The sleek and elegant new store is designed to raise Modere’s profile as a household name in clean lifestyle and to draw more consumers to our website,” added the spokesperson.

The new location features Modere portfolio of products, including its Liquid BioCell collagen, the Modere CellProof skin care range, the Lean Body System, and the company’s newest innovation, Modere Axis TreBiotic.

Modere CEO Asma Ishaq said that the center represents a “significant milestone in the continued growth of our business.

“In addition to offering an enhanced, immersive product experience to both new and loyal customers, this hands-on concept also will help us gain valuable insights into how consumers interact with our products and obtain real-time feedback on new products in development — an ideal complement to our dynamic e-commerce channel,” said Ishaq.

The NYC location is the first brick-and-mortar presence for Modere, a portfolio company of Z Capital Partners, L.L.C., the private equity fund management platform of Z Capital Group, L.L.C.

The spokesperson added that the company is looking forward to “gaining the real-time, customer experience insight that this new channel will provide and will decide at a later date whether or not we will open stores elsewhere.”
