“I’m personally passionate about health and wellness and I've spent the majority of my career in nutrition, which I think of dietary supplements as part of that nutrition universe. Whether it's pets, babies, or people, it's just something that I really have a lot of passion for. And now I'm working on a portfolio of brands at Pharmavite, and it's just great. It's a blessing to be able to get up every day and go to work and do something that you really love. And I just really felt like my passion and the opportunity at Pharmavite was one where I can have an impact on brands that were helping consumers live their healthiest life,” said Hoffman.
Hoffman said one thing she appreciates about working at Pharmavite, the makers of Nature Made, is their focus on giving back to the community.
“I think it's really important to give back to the communities where we're living, working and growing up. My mom worked outside the home as a volunteer. In fact, she's volunteered at a local hospice hospital for almost 30 years. So, I’m very proud of that commitment and I think I learned that at an early age and it's just something I've done throughout my life. So it was great to be able to be part of a company, like Pharmavite that also values giving back to our communities,” said Hoffman.
Nature Made recently launched their #TeachHealthy campaign to support teachers across the country. The brand is offering over 7 million servings of immune-support products and donating $4 million to help more than 13,000 teachers. Since teachers often purchase classroom supplies out-of-pocket and wellness supplies only increase these costs, Nature Made will provide a 3:1 match on every donation made to a Health and Wellness project on DonorsChoose, an education non-profit. In addition, Nature Made is giving free ImmuneMAX and Vitamin C gummies to teachers and other school faculty who are helping create a healthy learning environment under difficult circumstances.
