Lief Labs, a formulation and product developer as well as dietary supplement contract manufacturer, is building on new capabilities to help them drive innovation while managing ongoing global supply chain issues.
“Data analytics has entered our industry and the brands are leading it. What I want to do is I want to push that down into the contract manufacturer and the businesses that service these brands. We also want to look at regulatory issues and see if we can model that and predict where issues can happen within an organization. So this isn't data that exists outside of our organization. This is more internet of things and connecting all our equipment to sensors and then adding regulatory models and quality models so that we can predict regulatory and potential quality issues,” explained Adel Villalobos, CEO and Founder of Lief Labs.
Villalobos is tapping into data analytics, the Internet of Things and Edge Computing to help make predictions, make products safer and the make the process more efficient.
“It’s great for industry, great for consumer safety and great for regulatory agencies to know that companies are investing in these systems," said Villalobos.
