Just in time for SupplySide West, Quicksilver Scientific has debuted Apricō, a direct-to-consumer wellness brand that tackles hydration, immunity, stress, anti-aging, sleep, energy, to name a few.
Apricō (meaning “sunny” and “serene” in Latin) combines ancient plant compounds with nanoemulsion technology to create effective, specialized supplement blends in convenient formats, including drops, gummies, shots and sachets.
Lineup
The product line is used in preventative, daily, and targeted care settings, and includes Detox + Cleanse drops, Essential Daily Vitamin gummies or drops, Daily Immunity gummies or Immunity shots, Broad Spectrum Hemp gummies or drops, Everyday Stress Relief gummies or drops, Clarity + Focus shots, Daily Mineralization drops, Sleep Easy drops, Hydrate + Replenish sachets, and Anti-Aging capsules.
Technology
Apricō utilizes patented and patent-pending nanoemulsion technologies the company says are clinically proven to promote high bioavailability and fast uptake of active ingredients into the body, increasing absorption by 5-25x.
“Apricō is backed by the same absorption technology trusted by the world’s most elite athletes, biohackers, and progressive medical practitioners, with a mission is to bring better, brighter days to everyone,” said Dr. Christopher Shade, founder and CEO of Apricō and Quicksilver Scientific.
A-team
Quicksilver Scientific recruited Molson Coors executives David Durkee, PhD and Michelle Ahbe to lead development efforts and to provide direction in the CPG arena. Durkee will concentrate on product development while Ahbe will work on building the brand image.
“We developed this brand for the modern and curious consumer who is looking to take small steps to make the most of their daily life.” said Ahbe. “With Apricō’s line of easy-to-use, great-tasting, specialized plant-based health essentials, we’ve made the best of supplement technology more accessible.”
Apricō is available direct-to-consumer nationwide at www.aprico.life and Quicksilver Scientific will also feature the new line at SupplySide West.
