Nature’s Sunshine Personalization Program is New Business Strategy
Personalization Program
The personalization program, which will be available later this year, represents the next phase of Nature's Sunshine's digital-first transformation, said the company in a release. It gives practitioners and retailers the ability to consult with their clients and customers to assess their needs and offer them a way to receive a full month supply of their supplements in a recurring manner that would be automatically shipped to their homes.
The supplements would come presorted into individual packs divided for morning, noon, or evening consumption. The service is free of charge and is available online or through Nature’s Sunshine consultants, who have their own independent retail shops.
“Nature’s Sunshine’s consultants have a variety of backgrounds from nutritionists, herbalists and naturopathic practitioners to fitness coaches," said Kelly Rich, VP of US Sales, Nature’s Sunshine.
"We firmly believe we have the best practitioners and retailers in the industry and we're excited to launch our new personalization capabilities. This move further illustrates our commitment to supporting our practitioners by giving them all the tools necessary to share the healing power of nature with more people than ever before," added Terrence Moorehead, CEO, Nature's Sunshine.
Digital-first transformation
This new personalization program is part of Nature’s Sunshine five-point strategic roadmap to revitalize business.
According to a press release, the new strategy has already attracted thousands of new customers and has led to record sales in the last three quarters through March 31st, 2021. The main objective of this venture has been to increase sales and earnings for their practitioners and retailers- which it has.
The increase in sales comes from an increase in the number of supplements customers are purchasing.
Rich explains, “Providing an easier format in which people can remember to take their supplements will benefit their health and help our customers feel the benefits of our products. This will not only encourage them to regularly take supplements, but to explore other supplements which can help their health needs.”
"This is just one of several initiatives designed to improve the customer experience and increase earnings for our highly trained practitioners and retailers who are already seeing a sharp increase in sales with the recent introduction of our new business model," said Moorehead.
The company is not yet making claims for the health effects of this program.
“What we know is that regularly and consistently taking supplements leads to positive health outcomes, and we will be interested to learn how this convenience improves the health of our customers,” said Rich.
