NutraIngredients-USA unveils new show that celebrates the women behind the wellness
NutraIngredients-USA is celebrating International Women's Day by introducing NutraWomen Wednesday, a new weekly series.
The new show seeks to amplify female voices in the industry by bringing to the forefront the triumphs and challenges of NutraWomen with a sit-down interview every week.
“It’s a different vibe,” said Danielle Masterson, the series' host. “I have very technical conversations with women in the nutraceutical industry all the time, but I don’t usually get to ask them about their journey. NutraWomen Wednesday offers that human connection while advancing the conversation around gender equality.”
The series is the brainchild of Stephen Daniells, PhD, NutraIngredients-USA’s Editor-in-Chief, who tapped Masterson to be the host last fall. After months of planning and building out the concept, the team couldn’t think of any better day than International Women’s Day to make the announcement.
“The dietary supplements business is fortunate to have so many inspirational women at every level of the industry, but more can always be done to increase diversity across the dietary supplements sector,” said Stephen. “NutraIngredients-USA offers an ideal platform for these women to tell their stories and share even more of their insights. I can think of nobody better than Danielle to bring this series to life and I am excited to watch her develop the NutraWomen Wednesdays series in 2021.”
The series kicks off with Asma Ishaq, CEO Modere, on Wednesday March 10.
“I have a really impressive lineup of NutraWomen and I can’t wait for you to meet them,” said Masterson.
