Thousands of suppliers, buyers, manufacturers, and health industry professionals are expected to make up the the Natural Products Expo West show.
In the mix, are social media influencers on the hunt for the next ‘big thing’ in natural products.
Two influencers that you may see on the move, vegan content creator duo Whitney Lauritsen and Jason Wrobel. They plan to make their way around the expo while recording episodes of their podcast and filming episodes about their favorite product discoveries.
As the co-founders of Wellevatr, a website that promotes health and well-being, Lauritsen and Wrobel told NutraIngredients-USA that they come to the expo every year to see the latest and greatest in products, discover trends and innovative ideas that emerge at the show. Combined, the two have attended Expo West 24 times.
“One could call us Expo veterans!”
With veteran status in mind, Lauritsen decided to create a guide for attendees on how to make the most out of the expo by publishing an ebook called The Insider’s Guide to Natural Products Expo with tips and strategies.
“This trade show is where deals get made and powerful networking takes place. There is a great sense of community and relationship-building there because you can connect with people you might not get to meet in person otherwise,” said the duo.
“It’s also wonderful to come home with contact information from people we want to collaborate with, whether that’s a team member from a brand we love, a potential coaching client, an event coordinator who wants us to speak, or a new friend.”
They added that they are always looking for ways to support the wellness world and vegan movement through various strategies.
“Our new podcast, This Might Get Uncomfortable is a new avenue for us to promote brands and offer tips on health and well-being. During the expo we’ll be recording episodes with a few special guests and then doing an episode about our products discoveries.”
TBH
Not shying away from the truth, they added: “Frankly, we love taking product samples away from the expo and we’re not afraid to admit that!”
