UAS Labs achieves Food Safety System Certification 22000 (FFSSC 22000)

FFSSC 22000 certification for UAS Laboratories LLC verifies that the Wisconsin-based probiotics player conforms to all industry-related statutory and regulatory requirements as outlined by the FSSC 22000 International Standard for Food Safety Management Systems.

The certification also provides a framework for effectively managing the organization’s food safety responsibilities moving forward, said the company in a press release.  

The Madison-based company achieved the certification in just 17 months after gaining occupancy of their new, state-of-the-art facility.

“We had the unique experience of building this facility from the ground up which allowed us to design and engineer quality into each step of the probiotic fermentation process,” said Kim Rivard, Director of Quality. “This level of upfront control and design made obtaining this certification a smoother process than I've experienced.”

The UAS Labs facilities is also Kosher Certified, Halal Certified, Non-GMP Project Certified and FSSC 22000.  The Wausau, WI finished goods manufacturing facility is certified: NSF GMP, USDA Organic, Kosher, Halal, Gluten Free and Non-GMO.
