Natural Remedies gets non GMO verification on five branded ingredients

Branded ingredient manufacturer Natural Remedies has announced that five of its branded products have been verified as non GMO.

The company, which is based in Bangalore, India, had its products verifed by the Non-GMO Project and NSF International.

The five branded ingredients that went through the process were BacoMind, a branded Bacopa monnieri ​extract; Gutgard, a flavonoid rich licorice extract; Turmacin, an innovative water extract of turmeric; OciBest, an extact of Tulasi (Ocimum tenuiflorum​), an Ayurvedic herb; and AP-Bio, an extract of the herb Andrographis paniculata​.

Natural Factors noted that the certification process includes rigorous testing and verification steps.

“As the industry matures and consumers needs changes, we are expanding to meet our customer needs with NON-GMO Verified ingredients,”​ said Suresh Lakshmikanthan, global head of human health business for Natural Remedies. “We are working together with our cultivating partners to expand our Non-GMO supply chain to ensure we can continue to provide multiple choices to our customers.”

The Natural Remedys prdoucts are distributed in North America by AIDP.
