1. V8+Hydrate by V8
Campbell Soup Company-owned V8 is launching a new product line called V8+Hydrate. The 8 oz cans in the line are marketed for ‘natural electrolytes’ and ‘superior hydration.’ The main ingredient is sweet potato juice, which contains naturally occurring electrolytes and glucose.
With 45 calories in each 8 oz can, V8+Hydrate offers on full serving of vegetables, no artificial sweeteners, and no added sugar. It comes in three flavors: Coconut Watermelon, Orange Grapefruit, and Strawberry Cucumber.
2. ProbioMed by Designs for Health
ProbioMed is a range of shelf-stable probiotic formulations by practitioner channel brand Designs for Health. With a series of 50 billion CFU, 100 billion CFU and 250 billion CFU dosages, ProbioMed contains 10 branded probiotics strains, encapsulated in Stability Shield to protect the lifecycle of the capsule.
3. Mocca Shots by Seattle Gummy Company
It may have the word ‘shot’ in its name, but this energy supplement actually comes in gummy form. Seattle Gummy Company claims it has the “highest caffeine concentration available on the market. Each Mocca Shots dark chocolate gummy packs 100 mg of caffeine, the equivalent of a regular cup of coffee.”
4. Mom Shake Booster by Herbalife Nutrition
Multi-level marketing giant Herbalife’s new Mom Shake Booster contains vitamins and minerals marketed to support healthy mental performance and focus of new mothers.
“Vitamin A supports the immune system and vitamin D and calcium support and maintain strong bones and teeth. Vitamin B6 contributes to the regulation of hormonal activity and folate aides in the reduction of tiredness and fatigue,” according to the company.
As for the minerals, “Iron and copper help the body fight fatigue and support the immune system. Thiamin supports healthy sleep and memory, and riboflavin and B12 support energy. Zinc supports immune function and ultimately maintains wellness.”
5. Achieve Protein Bar by Herbalife Nutrition
An NSF Certified for Sport product by Herbalife24, the company says it is its “first protein bar to offer 20 grams of high-quality whey and milk protein, made with whole food derived ingredients.”
This new product was developed to meet the demands of all athletes including elites, weekend warriors and the everyday. It comes in two flavors, chocolate chip cookie dough and dark chocolate brownie.
6. PROBAR Live probiotic nutrition bars by PROBAR
PROBAR’s new PROBAR Live can be found in the refrigerated sections in Whole Foods Markets nationwide. It comes in four flavors: Peanut Butter, Almond Butter, Coconut Cashew and Peanut Butter Chocolate Chip.
