1. 5-Hour Tea Shots by Living Essentials
The makers of 5-Hour Energy shots announced a new product, aptly named 5-Hour Teas Shots, highlighting its 200mg caffeine content sourced from green tea, which is the main (and only) differentiator from the ‘original’ formula. For now, there is only one flavor in the line, the summer-staple peach tea flavor.
2. One Basix Protein Bars by ONE Brands
Part of the story of One’s brand name is that the bars contain one gram of sugar. The company’s new One Basix Protein Bars are positioned to be “a simplified take on traditional One Bars,” according to a press release. The new Basix line is free of gluten, sugar alcohols, and sucralose. For context, the original chocolate chip cookie dough bar has 6g of sugar alcohol compared to Basix’ 0g. To sweeten, the Basix line uses stevia.
3. Reliv Now with Whey by Reliv
Missouri-based multi-level marketing company Reliv announced a new product called Reliv Now with Whey late last month. The powder supplement contains vitamins, minerals, and “super-powered antioxidants,” which is the French maritime pine bark extract Pycnogenol by Horphag Research. Each serving contains 7 g of whey protein.
