The ingredient, which is a combination of the carotenoids lutein, RR-zeaxanthin, and RS [meso]-zeaxanthin, is marketed to support visual function and overall eye health, and to some extent, skin and brain wellness as well.

The award is administered by comparing market participants, and performance in measured through in-depth interviews, analysis, and extensive secondary research.
