Experts from Nielsen and Atrium Innovations, as well as two experts on regulation in the dietary supplement space, will discuss the forces that make the blood sugar management category tick in a FREE online forum hosted by NutraIngredients-USA.

According to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), diabetes was the seventh leading cause of death in the US—and even that may be under-reported. Moreover, more than 20% of health care spending is for people with diagnosed diabetes.

There have been more consumers looking to preventive approaches in maintaining a healthy blood sugar level, and the nutraceutical industry is responding with botanically-derived ingredients such as resveratrol, fenugreek, and green tea.

What’s the latest science behind blood sugar management dietary supplement development, and what are consumer perceptions about these products and behaviors around managing their blood sugar levels? Equally important, how can dietary supplement manufacturers in this space ethically and responsibly market their products and validate their claims within existing regulatory frameworks, especially those laid out by FDA and FTC?

These are some of the topics we’ll cover during the NutraIngredients-USA Blood Sugar Management online forum, which will be held on Thursday, February 23 at 11 AM EST. You can register for free by clicking HERE. Our panel of experts include:
