GoodBelly teams up with Microwarriors documentary to advance public knowledge on probiotics
‘Microwarriors: Special Edition’ is a re-release of the original documentary with new footage from interviews featuring prominent probiotic researchers including Prof. Gregor Reid (University of Western Ontario and Chair of Human Microbiology and Probiotics at the Lawson Health Research Institute in Canada) and Mary Ellen Sanders, PhD (Dairy and Food Culture Technologies, Centennial, CO). The new documentary is narrated by cultural icon Leonard Nimoy, and directed by his son, Adam Nimoy, and co-produced by his daughter, Julie Nimoy. David Knight is the Executive Producer.
Some of the other experts include: Glenn Gibson PhD, Todd Klaenhammer PhD, Jose Saavedra MD, Robert Martindale MD, Simin Meydani PhD and Tri Duong PhD.
To promote awareness of the film, GoodBelly has marked 1.5 million products with labels with release information and how consumers can purchase the DVD.
