Maypro Industries’ Proprietary Branded Ingredients (PBI) division is launching three new patented ingredients targeting stress and sleep, mental clarity, and mood support.

The three ingredients are branded ETAS (enzyme-treated asparagus extract) for stress and sleep, Bluenesse (lemon balm extract) for mental clarity, and Venetron (extract of Apocynum venetum L.)  for mood support.

With approximately 21 million American adults suffering from some type of mood disorder, an estimated 40 million experiencing anxiety, 30 million reporting problems with sleep, and over 20 million suffering from mild cognitive impairment, the market for such products is impressive.

“Considering the scope of these health concerns among Americans, and consequently the size of these markets, I am very excited about these opportunities,” said Dan Lifton, President of Maypro’s PBI division. “I am grateful to our manufacturer partners for their commitment to high-quality clinical research, which positions us for success.”

The recommended daily dosage of ETAS is 200 mg/day, Bluenesse is 300 mg/day, and Venetron is 50 mg/day.
