Emerson Ecologics cements relationship with homeopathic products manufacturer
Emerson Ecologics, a distributor of dietary supplements in the practitioner channel, has expanded its distribution agreement with Heel Inc. to carry its line of homeopathic products.

Under the expanded partnership, Heel products will be offered only through distribution, with Emerson as the preferred distributor in the US outside of Florida and Puerto Rico.

According to Heel, the move will bolster its commitment to its research program and provide improved ordering benefits to its healthcare practitioner customers. Emerson offers west and east coast distribution centers that will allow Heel customers to enjoy guaranteed two-day delivery times.

"This partnership strengthens our ability to meet the needs of our customers, who in many cases, are already served by Emerson Ecologics. This new arrangement will streamline the ordering process for our customers' medical supply needs with just one call. This partnership will also allow us to focus on our core competencies, including clinical research, product support and brand development," said Cliff Clive , CEO, Heel Inc.

Product buildout strategy

Emerson has pursued a strategy of adding to its product lines. In 2012, the company entered into an agreement to distribute Douglas Labs’ Klean Athlete line of sports nutrition products.  And it added Sevo Nutraceutical’s Perceptiv cognitive support product as well.

Founded in 1980, Emerson Ecologics, based in Manchester, NH,  distributes over 275 brands of nutritional supplements, vitamins and natural health products. Customers include integrative healthcare practitioners, naturopathic, chiropractic and medical doctors, licensed acupuncturists, and nutritionists, as well as their patients.

Heel is a homeopathic pharmaceutical company that develops, manufactures and distributes medicines based primarily on natural substances. Heel medicines are available through healthcare providers and fine natural product stores throughout the United States.
