Published in the Journal of Clinical Interventions in Aging, the study enrolled 26 women between the ages of 35 to 59, who took the supplement daily for 12 weeks, and resulted in the majority experiencing improvement in skin texture, hydration, reduced scaling, and improved blood microcirculation.
The global ‘beauty from within’ category, also known as nutricosmetics, is currently estimated to be $2 billion and is rapidly expanding to projections as high as $4 billion by 2015, with growth fueled by aging baby boomers and increased consumer awareness regarding incorporating nutricosmetics into the daily skincare regimen.
