The new expanded facility is expected to become operational before the end of 2012, and will include state of the art equipment for probiotic manufacturing. In addition, the new expanded laboratory will have the capacity to do all required probiotic testing as required by cGMP, said the company.
A spokesperson for the company said that the expansion is in response to an increase in demand, with US, Europe, and Asia markets driving this demand.
“UAS Laboratories, Inc. continues to develop customer specific Probiotic formulations, adding more and more Probiotic strains and signing more partnership agreements with other firms,” added the spokesperson.
