TSI forms two global divisions to double sales within three years
Innovation Products will be led by original founding co-partner Larry Kolb and based in Missoula, MT, while Value Services Division will be led by David Tiffney and based at the company’s operation headquarters in Shanghai, China.
“TSI has continued to evolve over the past decade to excel in superior manufacturing processes and assurances to become one of the leading developers and producers of nutraceutical products sold in over 30 countries,” explained Kolb.
“By creating these two focused divisions we can better serve and manage the future success of our customers.”
The Innovation Products Division will provide global sales and marketing of proprietary branded ingredients such as Peak ATP, Promilin, PromilinPro, MSV60 and Ostivone, in addition to combinations of ingredients, delivery systems, and formulations.
Manufacturing
Recent strategic acquisitions have strengthened the company’s manufacturing and supply chain capabilities.
New Products Development (NPD) Australia, a manufacturer of finished dose products for Australia and S.E. Asia, was acquired in 2010, and joined a year later by Yessamin, Ltd, a Norwegian contract manufacturing company with operations based in China to service the Chinese market as well as Scandinavia.
There have also been other investments in other Chinese solid dosage manufacturing facilities in China, said TSI.
“We have several finished dose manufacturers that are now under our umbrella, and coupled with our five existing ingredient manufacturing facilities and Q/C infrastructure platform in China, TSI provides a well-established manufacturing base and total supply chain management,” said Tiffney.
Value Services Division
Joe Zhou, CEO of TSI Group, told NutraIngredients-USA that Value Services is about “providing solutions to the supplement industry, whether companies are looking for ingredients, granulations, pre-mixes, dosage forms such as tablets, capsules, soft gels or powders in bulk or packed forms.
“TSI has an extensive platform with extremely high capabilities to provide the most advanced in terms of quality and cost.”
Tiffney’s division will offer branded ingredients including Pureflex Glucosamine and Chondroitin, GlucosaGreen non-shellfish Glucosamine, Phytovone soy extracts, Opteava green tea and Gingko 24/6/5.
“Our unique value services targeted to our global customers start with the raw materials we procure, then to granulations and drum-to-hopper formulations to solid dosage tablets and hard shell and soft gel capsules all completely integrated into one efficient, regulatory compliant and quality confirmed supply chain,” said Tiffney.
