Wellness International eyes US expansion after NSF Certified for Sport approval

Wellness International Network is forecasting a large expansion in the United States sports market following its NSF Certified for Sport program certification.

The Plano-based company earned NSF Certified for Sport Program approval for Winrgy, Sure2Endure and WINOmeg3complex, three products chosen to initiate Wellness International Network’s first round of certification, said the company.

NSF’s Certified for Sport program is designed to minimize the risk that a dietary supplement or sports nutrition product contains banned substances, and is officially recognized by the NFL, NFLPA, MLB, MLBPA, PGA, LPGA, NCAA, and CCES.

The company is now predicting a “large expansion in the United States sports market” because it can display the NSF Certified for Sport logo on product packaging, and the products will be listed on the NSF International website, used by coaches and professional athletes.

“Earning NSF Certified for Sport for Winrgy, Sure2Endure and WINOmeg3complex confirms Wellness International Network’s commitment to quality,” said Edward Wyszumiala, general manager of NSF International’s Dietary Supplement Certification Programs.

“I look forward to receiving additional products from Wellness International Network that will undergo NSF’s stringent certification process and athletic banned substances screening.”
