Aker BioMarine Antarctic US has assumed direct distribution of the company’s Superba krill oil for customer service and product fulfillment in North America, as of March 1, 2011.

"We've been extremely pleased with the growth of our Superba Krill Oil ingredients in North America," said Matts Johansen, executive vice president, Aker BioMarine AS. "However, our customers have expressed a desire to work directly with our organization for product deliveries as well as brand marketing support.

“By bringing product distribution activities in house, our North American company will be handling all aspects of customer service which we believe can more fully meet our customers' needs,” he added.

The company added direct interaction with its North American customers will aid new products development and better support customers’ needs.
