PeptoPro in US sponsorship deal prior to public launch
major sports event that will coincide with the launch of products
containing its new sports nutrition ingredient PeptoPro to the
public.
The ingredient has already been tested in a drink offered to Dutch athletes competing in last summer's Olympic Games.
It will now be given a boost in the US market as official sponsor of the 2005 World Sprint Speed Skating Championships, taking place in Salt Lake City, Utah from 22-23 January.
Europe's biggest sports nutrition company, Germany-based Haleko has added the casein hydrolysate to its MultiPower ReCharge Drink as well as a number of other products to be marketed worldwide.
It will be one of the first sports drinks in Europe to contain peptides.
Speaking after the ingredient won the gold award at Health Ingredients Europe in November, PeptoPro business director Richard Calk, told NutraIngredients.com: "This is just the first in a line of 10-12 new products to launch over the next two years."
