Syntegra, the billion dollar consulting and system integration subsidiary of BT group claims to have significantly contributed to a lift in sales performance for the energy drink brand, Red Bull.

The company said this week that following a link up with Extreme Beverage, a distributor of Red Bull Energy Drink, Syntegra's Mobile Delivery Service (MoDS) helped increase Extreme Beverage's sales performance by 30 per cent without adding additional staff.

MoDS, a mobile delivery service application developed by Syntegra, gathers real-time sales and marketing data at the account level in order to control delivery expenses, improve operational efficiency and eliminate manual order processing.

"MoDS is an affordable solution that is helping us save $50-60,000 per year in paperwork reduction and human resources efficiencies alone," said Todd Knipping, the owner of Extreme Beverage.

"The success of manufacturers and distributors is based on generating profitable sales at an increasing number of accounts and responding quickly and consistently to market opportunities," said Rich Pirrotta, vice president, Syntegra manufacturing sector. "Mobility is an important component in quickly obtaining better quality information to gain a competitive advantage."
