ATX opts for tablets over capsules

In a drive to cut the number of pills required for each dosage, sports nutrition company ATX Athlete Nutrition has come up with a new energy-boosting formula.

In a drive to cut the number of pills required for each dosage, sports nutrition company ATX Athlete Nutrition has come up with a new formula.

The company said this week that it has introduced advanced formulas for all its products, including Boxing, Martial Arts and Combative Sports supplements.

ATX Advanced Formulas contain the same ingredients as the original formula, but with two basic changes. The new formulas are tablets, instead of capsules.'Using tablets, we are able to eliminate fillers and inert ingredients, yet pack the same amount of active ingredients into fewer pills,' said the company.

In addition, ATX Athlete Nutrition has boosted the amounts of some of ingredients - including B vitamins, ginseng, and ginkgo biloba.

A new packaging system has been designed to mirror the new formula."We've got a bold, striking new look on our packaging, which reflects the improved product inside. ATX continues to be the only genuine 'Nutrition for Warriors' product on the market," said David Gaier, VP Marketing for ATX.
