Linnea extends US product line

Linnea, the Swiss manufacturer and distributor of botanical extracts for the dietary supplement, pharmaceutical and cosmetics industries, has extended the range of products available to customers in the US.

Linnea, the Swiss manufacturer and distributor of botanical extracts for the dietary supplement, pharmaceutical and cosmetics industries, has extended the range of products available to customers in the US.

The new extracts and commonly indicated areas of use include: artichoke leaf 5 per cent (for digestion, liver, kidney and gall bladder complaints, and cholesterol); echinacea angustifolia 4 per cent (for colds, flu, and the immune system); hawthorn extract 1.8 per cent (for cardiotonic, hypertension and blood pressure); olive leaf extract 18 per cent (for the immune system and anti-viral); and valerian root extract 0.8 per cent (for anxiety, stress and sleep disorders).

Robin P. Ward, Linnea's marketing manager, said: "With the addition of these products, Linnea can now supply a broader range of botanical extracts to meet increasing demands for end products that address a variety of therapeutic applications."

Linnea also offers arrange of other botanical products for the US market, including bilberry extract, ginkgo biloba extract, red clover extract and St. John's Wort extract.
