Nutritional supplements maker Solanova has launched a full-spectrum, natural Vitamin E, called TocoSential E.

The company claims its combination of each of the Vitamin E components helps deliver the optimal antioxidant protection and health benefits of the vitamin.

TocoSential E contains a blend of the eight naturally occurring Vitamin E compounds - four forms of tocopherols (alpha, beta, gamma & delta) and four forms of tocotrienols (alpha, beta, gamma & delta).

"Nutritional experts agree that the best Vitamin E products incorporate all eight members of the Vitamin E family in their natural forms," said Deepak Chopra, president of Solanova.

TocoSential E is made exclusively with natural ingredients and contains no artificial colors or preservatives. The supplement acts as a powerful antioxidant, defending the body from chronic disorders as well as protecting cells against the effects of free radicals - potentially damaging by-products of the body's metabolism.

Chopra added: "During our initial research on Vitamin E and the available products on the market, we realized that there really wasn't a Vitamin E supplement that delivered a truly full-spectrum blend of each of the eight Vitamin E compounds - which experts agree is absolutely necessary to ensure maximum health benefits."

Vitamin E is often lacking in processed foods, making it difficult for people to get sufficient amounts of Vitamin E from a normal diet alone. Furthermore, Vitamin E is fat soluble and generally found in fat-rich foods, which means that individuals would need to consume dangerous amounts of fatty foods in order to obtain necessary levels of each essential Vitamin E element, explained the company.

TocoSential E is currently available through Novato, California-based Solanova's website and will soon be available through natural foods retailers and distributors, the company said.
