US nutritional products maker VitaCube Systems is to expand its VitaCube Personal Care Provider reseller programme, an agreement which allows health clubs and fitness services professionals to market its products to their own customers.
VitaCube's nutritional supplement programme, targeted to consumers, professional athletes and health practitioners, will be available throughout the US.
Founded in response to growing concerns about industry practices, VitaCube does not market or incorporate potentially harmful substances such as creatine, ephedra and Ma Huang in its formulations.
Its products are not sold in supermarkets or in mass market retailers, as the company aims to focus on educated health consumers and service providers.
The VitaCube Systems programme is used by several high-level US athletes, which the company believes is due to its commitment to product integrity and customer needs.
"We've had strong success in our regional development of the Personal Care Provider programme, and we are eager to meet the demand from personal trainers, health clubs and other fitness pros who want an effective, proven product line that their customers and clients can't get anywhere else," said VitaCube CEO Sandy Greenberg.
"We are extremely flexible to meet the needs of the reseller, allowing for a wholesale discount distribution method or a simple referral incentive program. We will come up with whatever scenario is required to help a professional offer VitaCube as a value-added service to their customer."
VitaCube also offers scientific information and data, nutrition and product training and marketing assistance to those participating in the programme.
"The tremendous growth in our Personal Care Provider programme comes from having so many top athletes using the VitaCube systems," Greenberg said. "Personal care providers know this gives them instant credibility and leverage to make VitaCube a value-added offering to their own customers and clients."
